Don't Cross a Catfish Department
Would have been a perfect Seafood Sunday post, but alas, it's only Friday and I can't keep a story this delicious from my dear readers. So, here it is:
Over in Hungary, a 220 pound catfish attacked an Austrian tourist. United Press International has the details.
How about a little revenge for the human race? Sound good? Well, if you find yourself hungry (ha!), why not fry up some catfish for yourself.
Ya-Hoo Mountain Dew Department
A man from New Mexico named Paul Patone has used that old late night standby, Mountain Dew, as fuel, but not how you might expect.
Gas 2.0 has the details.

Seafood Sunday Department
Well, it's a very special Sunday... why you ask?
Well, duh, it's Shark Week.
Which of course reminds me of perhaps the greatest movie of all time (video link).
n.b. the reason we sometimes don't embed video is because it tends to screw up blogspot's formatting if they're in HD and can't be re-sized properly as a result.

Sort of Kind of Maybe Department
Just wanted to give a shout out to a website I've enjoyed immensely recently, halfbakery.com, self-described as "a communal database of original, fictitious inventions, edited by its users and spanning many topics." Check it out.
(And don't worry, we know it's Sunday, the seafood's on its way).
